IQTA IS COMING

Launch: June 28, 2025 — Stonewall Memorial Day

We’re not here to decorate the system.
We’re here to build something it never wanted us to have.
A space for queer and trans autonomy — led by us, for us.

Right now, we’re laying the foundation:
organizing, researching, archiving, remembering.
We move slow because we move with purpose.

Stonewall was not a party. It was an uprising.
So is IQTA.

Come back June 28.
We’ll be ready.

WHAT IS IQTA?

The Institute for Queer and Trans Autonomy is a grassroots initiative built by queer, trans*, Rom*nja, BIPOC, migrant, and poor communities who are done waiting.

Born out of the work of the QUEERDOS, IQTA exists to create infrastructure where none was meant for us:
spaces to organize, research, mourn, imagine, and survive — together.

We're not a think tank.
We are a future network. A strategy.
Our work spans:

  • Research & documentation of erased trans* histories, especially Rom*nja and racialized experiences across Europe.

  • Artistic & political interventions that challenge anti-trans movements and push for systemic change.

  • Community organizing through workshops, remembrance events, and peer-led education.

  • Digital infrastructure for connection, archiving, and future-building.
